My head has failed again,

an excess of something bound to an end..

it might not be visible,

but we cannot pretend,

to take for granted what you meant when you said,

too much of anything can never exist,

simply by definition,

it made me see the world and yet..

restraint might not bring joy - but contentment,

of which we had avoided for so long,

we had begun to forget the reason that these things ever made sense..
